Suspected Islamic militants killed a tribal elder Sunday in northwestern Pakistan, an intelligence official said, in the latest attack against a tribesman suspected of collaborating with authorities. The U.S. military in Afghanistan, meanwhile, said it will take a “wait and see approach” to a Pakistan-militant truce deal in a nearby tribal area.
