Iran test fired a sub-to-surface missile in the Persian Gulf during large-scale military exercises, it was reported Sunday. The Sagheb, or “Piercing,” missile was fired from a submarine and hit a target on the surface of the water less than a mile away, Iran’s official Islamic Republican News Agency, or IRNA, reported.
