A roadside bomb killed a NATO soldier Thursday, the military alliance’s fourth fatality since taking command in southern Afghanistan this week, while police backed by NATO warplanes killed 10 suspected Taliban militants, officials said. The roadside blast in Kandahar province also wounded a soldier, NATO said. Both were evacuated by helicopter for treatment at Kandahar airfield, where one of them was pronounced dead. Full Story
