The factional dispute between Fatah and Hamas was put on full display in a war of words among officials in Lebanon on Monday, following a Hamas-sponsored rally in Ain al-Hilweh the day before to protest Israel’s deepening incursion into the Gaza Strip. “We did not attack anyone during Sunday’s rally,” said Hamas’ representative in Lebanon, Osama Hamdan, after a Monday meeting with Sidon MPs Osama Saad and Bahia Hariri. “We simply reflected the Palestinian situation.” Full Story
