A bus blast that killed eight people and injured 46 in a separatist region was caused by a bomb carried onboard by a passenger, investigators said Friday. Officials are trying to determine how the bomber, who also died, obtained the device and for what purpose, said Ruslan Mova of the Trans-Dniester police. “The destruction was amplified by fragments of metal wire in the bomb,” Mova was quoted as saying by Trans-Dniester’s official news agency Olvia Press.
