Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Rangin Spanta called on Pakistan to redouble efforts to prevent terrorist groups from infiltrating into his country through their common border. Speaking at a Washington forum on Thursday, he said Pakistan “can do more” to combat the problem. Asked how Pakistan could help, Spanta said some 80,000 Pakistani soldiers, deployed beyond the so-called Durand line which supposedly separated the two countries, should be more vigilant. Full Story
