Homeland Security Department bureaucrats today will boost the New York City area’s anti-terrorism cash for this year by $10 million in new grants, sources said yesterday. The move to give $47 million in rail security grants to the tristate area – for New York, Jersey City and New Haven – was seen as back-pedaling by feds who gutted $80 million from the city’s federal funding last month, the sources said.
