Russia test-fired a ballistic missile Friday from a submarine in the Barents Sea to the Kamchatka peninsula in the country’s far east, defense officials said. The missile landed on the Kura test range some 3,000 miles away.”The successful firing confirmed the high readiness of the Navy Strategic Nuclear Forces and the effectiveness of the military command system,” Navy spokesman Capt.
