A former technology manager was sentenced this week to a year in prison and six months of home confinement for placing a so-called “time bomb” on his employer’s computer. William Shea was sentenced Thursday for his geeky handiwork that corrupted more than 57-thousand company records at the Silicon Valley-based debt collection company, Bay Area Credit Services.
