President George W. Bush said on Wednesday he wanted to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but first needed a plan to deal with the “darn dangerous” prisoners held there. Bush acknowledged that the camp, which has drawn international condemnation, gave some “an excuse” to criticize the United States for failing to uphold the values it espouses. Full Story
