Thousands of Palestinians have vowed to avenge the death in an Israeli air strike of a militant leader who served as an advisor to the Hamas government. Jamal Abu Samhadana, head of the Popular Resistance Committees, was killed along with three other militants just before midnight in a raid on a training camp near the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, near the Egyptian border.
