Four police killed in Sri Lanka blast
At least four policemen were killed in a mine attack blamed on Tamil Tiger rebels in eastern Sri Lanka, military officials here said. The victims were on a routine patrol in Kathankudy in the district of Batticaloa when they were ambushed with a Claymore mine, officials said on Thursday. Two soldiers and a policeman were killed in a similar blast in the northern district of Vavuniya on Wednesday. Full Story
