The Danish government plans to reduce Denmark’s contingent in southern Iraq by one-fifth to some 400 troops, a news report said Monday. Foreign Minister Per Stig Moeller is to present an amendment on May 18 that would reduce the force by about 100 troops from the present 530 soldiers, the Politiken newspaper said.
