International pressure is mounting on the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority (PA) in the wake of a suicide bombing that killed nine people in Israel. Hamas described Monday’s bombing, carried out by the Islamic Jihad group, as an act of “self-defence”. The US labelled both as “terrorist” groups, and said the Palestinians risked further international isolation.
