A roadside bomb ripped through a police vehicle in volatile southern Afghanistan, killing a policeman and wounding two others, police said. The policemen were patrolling in Grishk district of southern Helmand province Wednesday when the remote-controlled device was detonated, police criminal investigation department chief Amanullah Khan said. He blamed the “enemies of Afghanistan”, a reference to remnants of the 1996-2001 Taliban regime who are waging an insurgency against the new administration. Full Story
