Nepal lifts daytime curfew but arrests continue

Nepal lifted a daytime curfew clamped on the capital but arrested more demonstrators, including 25 journalists, as protests continued against King Gyanendra’s absolute rule. “The daytime curfew … in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts has been lifted until further notice,” a newsreader on state-run Nepal Television said.
