A powerful bomb exploded in a hairdresser’s shop in the restive southwestern Pakistani province of Baluchistan, killing a man and injuring 17 others, police said. The early morning blast destroyed the salon, a bakery and several other shops in the main bazaar of Kohlu town, some 400 kilometers (248 miles) southeast of the provincial capital Quetta, local police officer Mohammad Ejaz told AFP on Monday. “One person died on the spot while 17 others were rushed to hospital.
