Two in Turkish Security Forces Are Killed After Guerrilla Assault

A mine killed two members of Turkey’s security forces on Saturday after soldiers killed six guerrillas fighting for Kurdish autonomy, officials said, in a further escalation of the conflict. The car’s driver and a police lieutenant colonel were killed when their car drove over the remote-controlled mine in the mainly Kurdish southeast, security officials said.
