Baghdad Shiite mosque bombing death toll reaches 90

The death toll from the triple suicide bombing at a popular Baghdad Shiite mosque climbed to 90 as victims succumbed to their wounds over the last three days, a health ministry official has said. “At least 90 people died in the bombings as many succumbed to their wounds,” Qassim Allawi, spokesman of the health ministry told AFP. The initial toll was 79 dead in Friday’s attack on Baghdad’s Al-Baratha mosque as three suicide bombers, two of them dressed as women, struck at the end of weekly prayers. Full Story
