Six killed as violence plagues Turkey

Separatist Kurdish rebels killed five soldiers and a policeman in Turkey’s southeast, officials said, as violence continued to plague the country in the wake of deadly Kurdish riots. A group of radical Kurdish militants also claimed responsibility for a bomb attack Wednesday against an office of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Istanbul in what it described as a reprisal attack for the unrest.
