Turkish policeman killed in southeast rebel attack

Kurdish guerillas attacked a police station in southeast Turkey with shoulder-fired rockets overnight, killing one policeman and injuring seven others, police said on Wednesday. The attack followed a week of street clashes between Kurdish protesters and police sparked by the funerals of 14 Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) rebels killed in clashes with troops.
