A relief worker who was injured during an attack on an aid base in south Sudan has died after two weeks in hospital, the United Nations refugee agency said on Wednesday. Antonio Guterres, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, said he was deeply saddened by the death of Nabil Bahjat Abdulla, who passed away on Tuesday night in a hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. “Once again, the humanitarian community is mourning a friend and colleague who died trying to help others in a place that has already seen far too much sadness and violence,” Guterres said in a statement.
