Serbs and ethnic Albanians resumed talks on the future of Kosovo on Friday, marked by a row over the presence of a former guerrilla commander at the negotiating table and Serb protests in the province. The two sides held direct talks for the first time last month, seven years since late Serb strongman Slobodan Milosevic went to war with NATO and lost control of Serbia’s majority Albanian province to the United Nations.
