A federal judge said today he intends to give the government some of the Google search data it wants after the government scaled back the number of requests, in a case seen as a major test of Internet privacy. Shares of Google Inc. rose more than $12, or 3.6%, moving above $349 per share as a door appeared to open for a compromise between the Web search company and the Justice Department. Full Story
