Two of 23 suspected Al-Qaeda militants who escaped from a prison in Yemen have been arrested with the help of three other jail-breakers who surrendered recently, a security official said Tuesday. The men, who hail from the southeastern Al-Baida province, were arrested on Sunday night in Sanaa disguised in civilian clothing, said the official on condition of anonymity. “We were able to arrest them with information provided by the three that surrendered and who were from the same province,” he said.
