A mortar attack killed four people and wounded 13 others in Shola, a Shi’ite district in Sunni-dominated western Baghdad on Monday, police said. The attack took place on the day authorities lifted an extended curfew in Baghdad after a week of sectarian violence, sparked by the bombing of a Shi’ite shrine, killed more than 200 people.
