A top election official called for an investigation into allegations the results of Haiti’s presidential election were being manipulated. Thousands of Rene Preval supporters thronged the streets, threatening violence if the front-runner is not declared the winner. Pierre Richard Duchemin, an electoral council member, said Sunday he needs access to tallies of vote counts if he is to learn who was behind the alleged manipulation. Full Story
