Rebels in eastern Congo forced a local radio station off the air after a wave of fighting and looting in the troubled Central African nation, an international media watchdog group said Tuesday. Separately, a U.S.-based human rights group urged Congolese authorities and U.N. peacekeepers to arrest renegade former army commander Laurent Nkunda, whose fighters were allegedly responsible for the recent outbreak of clashes in the area.
