British troops being sent to lawless Helmand province in southern Afghanistan will “stir up a hornets’ nest” and provide “plenty more targets” for insurgents, says a senior officer in the advance party. In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Lt Col Henry Worsley described security in Helmand as “pretty poor” and said there was “no military power” there.
