A man fired a revolver Wednesday inside the Italian consulate in the southern Swiss city of Lugano, authorities said. There were no injuries, an Italian news agency reported. The man, identified by the Apcom agency as an Italy national living in Switzerland’s Italian-speaking canton (state) of Ticino, apparently entered the building saying he wanted to speak to Alessandro Pietromarchi, the head of the consulate. He then fired several shots before being restrained by employees, the agency said. Full Story
