Indonesia on Monday announced the arrest of a terror suspect in connection with a videotape threatening attacks on the United States and its allies. Subur Sugiarto was one of several people detained last week on suspicion of ties to Malaysian fugitive Noordin Top, said police spokesman Brig. Gen. Anton Bachrul Alam. Noordin is believed to be a senior member of the al-Qaida-linked terror group Jemaah Islamiyah. Sugiarto allegedly made the video of Noordin after the group carried out an Oct. 12, 2005 attack on the resort island of Bali, Alam said. In the tape, Noordin warned America, Australia, England and Italy, “you will be the target of our next attack.” Full Story
