Canadian and U.S. authorities temporarily closed a B.C. border crossing and evacuated six nearby houses Tuesday night while guards inspected a Canada-bound car they suspected of containing a bomb. Canadian border guards called RCMP after finding a 9-mm handgun, two shotguns and a rifle in the car at about 9:30 PT.
