Man held over failed London bombs
A 27-year-old man has been arrested by anti-terror officers in west London in connection with the attempted bombings on the London transit system on July 21 last year, Scotland Yard said. The man was arrested around 11:40 a.m. “in the street in Kensington Church Street, W8, London, by officers from the Met’s Anti-Terrorist Branch on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000,” Scotland Yard said in a written statement on Tuesday.
