Hundreds of youths have held violent protests in Ivory Coast’s main city at international mediators, who say parliament’s mandate should end. President Laurent Gbagbo’s supporters burnt tyres and blocked main roads in Abidjan and attacked UN vehicles. Police fired tear gas to break up the protests.
