Israeli security officials Tuesday proposed building a “defense wall” through the divided town of Ghajar, which straddles the border of occupied Syrian and Lebanese territories, as a means of protecting Israelis from attack by Lebanese militias. The Shin Bet security agency will present Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon its recommendation Wednesday to build a barrier in Ghajar to prevent attacks on the southern part of the town. Full Story
