Hamas insists that the Palestinian parliament election be held, as scheduled, on Jan. 25, a leader of the Islamic militant group said Tuesday. The Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, spoke a day after Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said the vote should be postponed if Israel bars Palestinians from voting in disputed Jerusalem.
