Left-wing Colombian rebels dynamited eight oil wells and an electricity tower near the Ecuadorean border over the weekend, police said Monday, the latest attack in a series that killed 37 soldiers and police last month. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, destroyed the wells Sunday in the town of Orito, in the southern jungle province of Putumayo, spilling oil into nearby rivers and streams, said regional police commander Humberto Guatibonza.
