Fuel Depot Explosion unlikely to disrupt domestic supplies
Buncefield, the UK’s fifth largest fuel distribution depot was ripped apart by an explosion earlier today. The complex was devastated as a result of the incident, which also blew out doors and windows and caused structural damage to adjacent properties. According to emergency services on the scene, approximately half the complex is ablaze, with much of the remainder badly damaged. No fatalities or life threatening injuries have been reported, however c.40 people were taken to hospital in the aftermath of the blast. Full Story
