Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say they are investigating whether a man held in connection with the Delhi bomb blasts might be a petty criminal. The man had “confessed” to his involvement in one of the blasts, officials said on Wednesday. “But later he retracted his statement and said he had committed theft,” Jammu police inspector general SP Vaid said. “We are investigating both statements.” More than 60 people were killed and 210 hurt in the 29 October triple blasts.
