The number of surveillance cameras on the University’s campus has quietly risen to 180, up from just 60 in 2000. The cameras – many of them housed in black, hemispherical shells – are sprinkled around campus in locations such as Faunce House, the Verney-Woolley Dining Hall, the Center for Information Technology, Health Services and in and around the Power Street parking garage.
