Deputy police chief killed in eastern Afghanistan
A deputy police chief was killed Monday night at home when a group of militants crashed into the house in Afghan eastern province of Paktia, a local official said Tuesday. “The deputy police chief of Zurmat district of Paktia Faiz Mohammad was killed by a group of suspected Taliban militants intruded in his home last night, and his brother was injured,” Riza Mohammad, the district chief of Zurmat told Xinhua.
