Chief U.N. investigator Detlev Mehlis will hear testimony from Syrian officers on Tuesday in his probe into the killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri, a Syrian official said. Mehlis will interview senior Syrian officers who had a role in security in Lebanon around the time of the attack and other Syrian security officials, official sources in Beirut have said. The senior officials include Rustom Ghazali, chief of intelligence in Lebanon, and senior aides Mohammad Khallouf and Jamae Jamae, the sources in Beirut said.Full Story
