Taliban insurgents have killed seven people in Afghanistan after finding them with voter cards for Sunday’s elections, according to a provincial governor. The Taliban, battling U.S. and government forces since their 2001 overthrow, are opposed to the parliamentary and provincial polls and claim to have killed several candidates. Full Story
