One man was killed and five officers were injured during clashes between Kurdish protesters and police in south-eastern Turkey. Around 1,000 Kurds were demanding the release of the bodies of six men accused of being Kurdish separatists in the town of Batman. The six were killed during fighting with the Turkish military last week. The violence comes after the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) announced a unilateral ceasefire 10 days ago.Full Story
