Two U.S. soldiers killed in Afghan blast
Two U.S. soldiers were killed and two wounded in Afghanistan’s restive southern province of Kandahar on Thursday when a roadside bomb hit their armored vehicle, the U.S. military said. The vehicle was part of a convoy supporting a road construction project, the U.S. military said in statement. “These terrorists are attacking the very forces working to improve Afghanistan,” said Brigadier-General Jack Sterling, the deputy commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan.Full Story
