Two experienced militants, both veterans of the war in Afghanistan, told an independent Pakistani journalist here last week that they had met one of the July 7 London bombing suspects, Shehzad Tanweer, on a trip to a known militant training camp north of the capital, Islamabad. One of the militants interviewed said Mr. Tanweer struck him as “a good Muslim” who was eager to assassinate the Pakistani president, Gen.
