Britain to Publish List of Terror Attacks

Prime Minister Tony Blair’s government, at pains to show that the London bombings aren’t linked to Britain’s involvement in the Iraq war, announced Wednesday plans to publish a list of worldwide terrorist attacks dating back more than a decade. Blair’s official spokesman said the list — beginning with the 1993 truck bombing of New York’s World Trade Center — included only violence the government blames on al-Qaida or groups linked to Osama bin Laden’s terror network. Blair’s spokesman said the list would put last week’s bombings in London in context. Full Story
