German authorities detained three people connected to the Iraqi militant group Ansar al-Islam and searched at least two dozen places across the country on Tuesday, the federal prosecutor’s office in Karlsruhe said. The three were arrested on charges of collecting money, delivering goods and driving for the group, the office said in a statement. Eleven others had been detained and were questioned.
