Through the use of short text messages, the [South Korea] Foreign Ministry said yesterday that it has established a mobile alert system for natural disasters and acts of terrorism for South Koreans traveling abroad. A ministry official said the service will be provided in cooperation with SK Telecom, the country’s largest mobile phone service provider, from next Monday.
