Colombian rebels controlled roads leading to this besieged mountain village Monday while government forces – flown in by helicopter – patrolled its battle-damaged streets. Most of the 3,000 people fled on foot, horseback or in the back of pickup trucks Sunday after the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, began attacking the town for the second time in four days.
